Date: 11 March 2026
Time: 12:15-13:45h CET
Chair: Danail Hristozov (GreenDecision/NSC WG SSbD)
Co-chairs: Sébastien Artous (CEA), Carlos Fito (ITENE)
Description:
This session will present state of the art solutions for Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) assessment and decision making for both chemicals and advanced materials in line with the revised SSbD framework recently published by the European Commission. Industrial implementations will showcase these innovative approaches in success stories involving real use cases of plasticisers, lubricants, flame retardants, paint surfactants, plant protection products, and polymers from the EU funded projects AlChemiSSts, CROPSAFE, PLANETS, SUNRISE, and SURPASS.
